NullID public guide

Local-first privacy and security tools

NullID groups browser-based privacy and security workflows into one workbench. Sensitive processing happens in your browser session; the application files are delivered from the NullID origin and can be cached for later PWA use.

Remove supported metadata

Inspect image metadata in the browser and clean supported image/PDF metadata with format-specific warnings.

Redact sensitive text

Mask emails, phones, IDs, likely secrets, tokens, and custom local regex matches before sharing text.

Sanitize logs

Apply reusable local policy packs, diff previews, JSON-aware cleaning, and batch text-file sanitization.

Hash and verify

Compute SHA-256, SHA-512, and legacy SHA-1 digests for text or files and compare expected checksums.

Scan likely secrets

Review logs, config snippets, and headers for pattern-based credential findings without uploading content.

Generate passwords

Generate passwords or passphrases locally and create one-way password storage records.

Verify packages

Inspect received NullID packages, policy packs, snapshots, and envelopes with honest trust labels.

Encryption & secrets

Use encryption, secret scanning, password generation, and Secure Notes when you need to prepare or protect sensitive material without a backend service.

Redaction & sanitization

Use redaction for sensitive text spans and sanitization for repeatable log cleanup policies, diff review, batch text files, and safe-share bundle preparation.

Metadata, integrity & verification

Inspect image and document metadata, compute local checksums, and inspect NullID workflow packages with narrow trust labels.
